Too late for tomatoes?
« on: April 21, 2012, 07:48 »
Hello.

I forgot to sow my tomato seeds and is it now too late to bother? Should I just buy some plants instead now?

thank you  :)

Buy?   Nearly had a heart attack.

No, it's not too late.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

I'm not sowing my seeds for another week or two yet  :)
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

So you mean tomatoes can be sown now, I have been nurturing tomatoes since Feb, and to be quite honest they are pretty poo, there about a foot long and fall all over the place, so if I bin them as a lesson learned I can get new seeds and start again.  ::)

my first tomato seedlings damped off - too cold and they got too wet. I'll sow again and leave til much later before sowing next year.
