Blue Hawaii was the first film of his that I saw at the "pictures" Early 60s.  I was too young to have seen any earlier ones.

I was slighly too young Aunty, to go to the pictures to see his movies, I,m not really an Elvis anorak but I really do like his music. I,m especially fond of his later songs and really like his Gospel stuff. One of my fav songs of his is "Lord you gave me a mountain" and also "My Boy". I also have over 200 backing tracks as I like to sing a little bit, not really a singer tho.     its just makes me feel happy  :D

Hiya Skiprat

Very cool nice job there. Is this in the house or an outbuilding. Stocked with homebrew ?  I fancy a bar myself but I don't have room I do have a concrete shed where i store my homebrew but it can't compare with yours

A job to be proud off

Thanks for the nice comments CE. Bobby,s bar is inside the house its a small extension thats at the end of the kitchen. It will be used to dispence Homebrewed beer. The beer is brewed from Grain, which I have only recently started brewing, I have used many different kits over the years, but the difference in All Grain andd kits is miles apart IMO. the beer is dispenced from Cornie kegs to which at the moment I own 4  each one hold aprox 32 pints, and is dispenced by CO2 gas just like in a pub. I have just ordered another 4 kegs which will give me a total of 8 kegs, which will be 2 for my stock lager, 3 will be used for my stock bitter and the other 3 will be used to experiment with other recipies. I,m hoping to build a permanent micro brewery this year. It started out really as a bit of fun but already it has saved a considerable sum of money as me and the wife havent been out to a pub this Christmas, choosing to stay in instead, its also nice not trying to get a taxi back home...

Hey!

Looks great.  I have a set of taps here that i'd like to link up to 40 pint kegs that I have with homebrew in.

How do I go about doing it?

How do I go about doing it?

I,m not sure about using plastic kegs, I use stainless kegs called "Cornelius Kegs" or cornies for short. These hold aprox 19 ltrs and have two post on top of the keg one for gas in and the other for product out (beer). Inside the keg is a pickup tube that stops about half an inch from the bottom of the keg. All that is required is to put CO2 into the keg via the input post, I use about 12 psi, and this is from a large co2 bottle that would be used in most pubs. The output is connected via 3/16th tube about 51/2 foot. The reason it 5 and a half feet is that we only want around one psi at the beer tap, and 3/16th tubing will lose about 2 psi per foot, so 51/2 foot will loose aprox 11psi, leaving our one psi at the tap. thats about it really. I actually run my beer outlets through a flash chiller, ensuring a lovely cool beer.

Hi,

Mine are stainless steel 40 pint (19 litre) kegs from a pub a relatives friend owns.

Sounds like the same as yours.  I needed help with the gassing system as I didn't want to blow the roof off the shed :-)

I will speak with BOC gas supplies and enquire about CO2.  How much do you pay?

Also, what is the best pipe to use?
