Yup. There's one near us well underway with them, an increase of adverts on TV subtly encouraging you to buy things like perfume for St. Rudolph's Day, and one or two ads on the back of TV magazines with pics of those musical jobbies covered in snow with moving parts and music.  I now have to admit that I've got most of my presents as I get them during the year which saves a lot of stress when I'm already at breaking point doing my usual mega clean-up (not that it really needs it) but it makes me happy and slightly smug.
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.

One near us in East Sussex has been clearing space for Christmas stuff.  I assume they are trying to recoup losses from last year but it's too early as far as I'm concerned

I've looked out my recipes for 'that time of year' and have made a 'rough' shopping list which we intend making a start on now especially as they say some things may be in short supply.  We've also started clearing one drawer in the big freezer ready to start filling with pre-made stuff.

To add to my previous post, we went to a garden centre yesterday for a look around and they had some festive cards which were actually really nice so we stocked up as they weren't going to be getting anymore.

It is never too early to buy cards and presents for Christmas.
In shops, you can always walk by the aisles.

What I always think is daft is this month some of the movie channels and music channels on Sky have started their Christmas themes. Not sure really who will be watching them for the next three months and if they do will be so bored with them by the time the Christmas December binge month for that content arrives.

Suspect many shops will welcome the earlier attention after missing last Christmas for the most part.

For me, just cant wait for Christmas and all the shopping build up that comes with it. Mostly though online these days for food and presents.
For food especially, the pandemic has changed my food buying for good, to all online and deliveries and its so much better in many ways. Last Christmas was a joy for that with no issues.
Of course, as we grow so much of our fresh veg and freeze/store it through the season, a fair bit of the fresh stuff we enjoy we have already :)

Did buy all my cards online last year on Amazon from third parties.
But, will enjoy looking around the specialist card shops again.

Most garden centres start with the Christmas prep straight after the August bank holiday.  When I worked in one it used to do my head in, as you had it then until January when you sold off the remnants and packed the rest away.   To be fair it takes a lot of work to clear half the shop and rebuild it,  so you couldn’t just throw it together in November.  All that stuff comes in from multiple suppliers and has to be sorted into themes and put together as displays that make sense for starters

We have some sweeties and mince pies in at work, but I can ignore them quite easily   :)

I'm going to have a go at making Stollen this year as we bought some last year in M&S and loved it.  Don't like Panattone (sp) so won't bother with that.

In October I am going to write my cards, because in late Oct/early November, I have to go into hospital to have my hands sorted out.   So I will get that job out of the way.  Mrs B

well well the enthusiasm for Christmas starts here all the garden centres are ready go with gifts and cards of plenty give um the money Mabel  :D lets spend spend spend out of this pandemic and with the possibility of some Christmas delights in short supply including the Christmas turkey what shall we do without our Christmas turkey I ask myself maybe have to go with something ells a nice piece of pork or lamb or how about a piece of fresh salmon

and I think some of you are absolutely rite stock up early for Christmas when its available don't leave it till the last minuet or you could be disappointed and don't forget to get your must have Mince pies

if you've got a few brussels to spare on the allotments maybe you could sell them at the gate  can I pop round and buy few ready for Christmas just encase there in short supply   :D :D
