If anyone is in the Cambridge area Anglesea Abbey is a wonderful place for snowdrops. They have a winter garden walk which is spectacular and they have special snowdrop walks and talks. They have a special snowdrop collection, and you can have a guided tour and talk about them.

It is a national trust property. The house isn't open until the Spring but that is worth a visit then.

And another place that is so amazingly interesting with lovely gardens, a gardener who is a galanthophile is in Hemmingford Grey in Cambridge. I can't remember the name but will add it when I have googled it.

There is a house to go around too; you have to book a guided tour but it is well worth it.  It is really quirky with an amazing history. It used to be owned by the children's author Lucy Boston who wrote the Green Knowe books. She was also a quilter and there are amazing quilts too.

Added bonus is the pub across the way too.

The Manor Hemmingford Grey. Well worth a visit.

If you are in that vicinity, and don't know of it, you might like the Snowdrops at Benington Lordship (near-ish to Stevenage)
