Hi, I give my hens bread as a treat maybe once a month at the most.  I give one thin slice between four, they would eat the loaf if I let them but I understand that it is not particularly good for them.  I also only ever feed them whole wheat seeded bread, I would personally never give them white bread.  Make sure you break it down into small pieces if not they may choke!

I would say that, even if baked elsewhere, it is likely to infringe the defra rules about feeding chickens items which cannot be guaranteed to be free from meat product contamination.

It really is junk food as far as chooks are concerned and personally I would not feed it. In much bread there can also be a high salt content not good for chooks. :)

As long as none of the ingredients have ever been in kitchen this is possible. However best to stick to poultry feed :)
