Garlic and Onions
« on: March 30, 2008, 18:20 »
Hello

Just wondering if anyone could help with a question.

I have 20 odd garlic plants and a similar number of onion sets which have both been in since October which are starting to get to a decent size in my garden.
Unfortunately due to work reasons I am moving in 9 days time and am wondering what are the chances of these still living and continuing to grow if i take them with me and re plant as soon as I get to the new house?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Rob

you could try it. Nothing ventured an all that. Just get a decent clump of soil with them and then get them back in the ground sharpish

some are only now planting onions(me) so it should be fine. give the plenty of water before you lift them.
always have a target
and an objective.
