Have to agree with rctg here that this has gone too far off topic.  What was a heartfelt post from a traumatised family has degenerated into pro versus anti hunt debate.  This is not helping to deal with their pain.  I feel that this is such an emotive issue that is not fitting to have it on a gardening forum, so lets leave it there please.

ok this ones going well off track .i commented so that the hunt would face up to its responsibilities re control of the pack ,as this is not just one incident they are clearly lacking in judgement on the handling of the dogs ,i am not anti anything on the country scene ,, this was a post about what to do about a pack of dogs out of control not a " for or against " debate or post .. so lets take this one to its close in the response of seeking what advice the law gives .. not personal comment
