my pre chitted potatoes came yesterday 3 boxes of them  but i am not ready for them yet and thought they have came early,how long will they last for??

put them somewhere cool and light and they'll keep a few weeks yet.  I'd say they should go into the ground by mid-end April, though.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

My seed potatoes are not sprouting . . . bought them from the garden centre and have put them in a warm, sunny place but they're just going soft with little or no sprouts. Any thoughts as to what I can do to move them along? I'd like to get them in the ground soon. Thanks  :)

Hi, i remember a trial on gardeners world a while back planting chitted and unchitted spuds, same type same plot same everything. When lifted the yeald was exactly the same! Makes you wonder. I'd just plant them.

They should be ok even if they don't chit.  Just get them in the ground in the next couple of weeks.  I'd try not to let them get too warm - cool and light is better.

my earlys [accent] are chitting in my greenhouse in egg boxes they to have gone soft but have little sprouts and gone brown now..
