Is it too late to sow some peas? I have a bed empty and would like to try some more peas.

Bang 'em in!  If you get no peas at least you'll get pea shoots for a salad or two.  lateral thinking every time!   ???   Cheers,    Tony.
I may be growing OLD, but I refuse to grow UP !

You also stand a good chance of getting pea shoots with mildew!
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

I ended up putting in a few rows of peas. One of the old boys said they would be ok so thought why not. Nothing to loose by giving it a go.

I usually sow a load of pea seeds around this time in the greenhouse just for the peashoots. Especialyl since there is now room once some of the tomatoes and cucumbers have all but finished. Never had a problem before with this and the pea shoots, along with rocket and some lettuce types sown around now and at intervals keep me going through the winter. Once it gets colder I cover them with one of those small plastic tunnels inside the greenhouse which helps somewhat warmth wise.
