Title: Eggs

My Silver Pekin Partridge laid her first egg today, shes about 10 months old and is leader of the gang, her egg was about 39 grms, nearly as big as her, she barged past me into house leading up to laying, I think she had designs on laying in style, she did eventually lay in the nest box, I have three laying now,  my Norfolk grey has gone off laying she does not like the winter it seems, and have two orpingtons getting ready to lay, but as the breeder told me,
they like to feel the sun on their backs before they get in the mood! :lol:

Congratulations,  3 of my 6 hens are still laying but 3 of my Black Rocks who are 16 months old have been molting and given up laying for the winter!
