Hi taken over an allotment recently - I am not sure what this is.  It looks like a yellow raspberry to me.

i believe its a strain of raspberry, have a couple of them down my plot , they mature orange , lokks great in a trifle at Christmas red and orange raspberrys mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

We used to have a yellow raspberry variety called Autumn Gold and they were sweet but the plants weren't all that hardy and many died out, unlike the reds which are almost impossible to kill even if you wanted to  :wink:

Autumn gold on our site is very rampant. Nice and sweet, but they are easily spoilt by the damp weather for an autumn fruiting one.

Yes, I know it's not autumn, but yes, they have started fruiting here, too. :lol:

You can do, but be warned, all soft fruit becomes acidic in store, especially if frozen, I personally prefer jam, compote, ice cream, sorbet.
