He's beautiful (upright stance a dead giveaway). I have a Sultan hen looks similar but all white. I've recently had to rehome a georgous Silkie cockerel as neighbours were complaining.

Maybe if you have understanding neighbours you could keep him. Whatever way good look to you and him.

I actually like the noise they make, wish I had a more rural abode.
