Duck's dodgy leg.
« on: March 27, 2011, 19:39 »
I've 'rescued' two ducklings that had both, at different times, gone lame and were therefore unwanted  ::) . The first has healed itself very nicely with minimal interference and just a little time; the second, although growing at a cracking pace, is less happy. It's leg is bent inwards, so much so that it has been standing on it's own feet! it can get about but is very clumsy.  :(

Is this a badly healed bone or Perhaps a variation on spraddle leg?

Any chance of a picture? That might help.  In the meantime Good Luck!
