Runner bean seeds
« on: November 04, 2008, 21:34 »
I have grown runner beans, I have cooked and enjoyed when pods were green, today I have taken off the last of the bean pods to harvest the seed to grow next year. What I want to know is can I use the actual bean (seed) to eat in soups etc and can I dry them for future use in cooking. Thank you.

You could but there's a reason you can't by them in the food shops.

They're not very tasty  :!:
