My oldest lot of chickens had their first night outside last night in their new coop. After much asking on freecycle I managed to find some old lino flooring to fit to the floor and sealed all the edges. My theory was that it would be easier to clean or hose down. Anyhow they have all survived ok and hopefully will settle into their new routine. Heres some piccys

Great job.  I have a friend that put similar flooring in a chicken shed.  She is having trouble with the hens slip sliding when the floor is clean so be careful you don't have any injuries.

Thanks for the replies, I got given the lino by a freecycler. Its very thick industrial lino with some grip granules or anti skid technology so hopefully will be alright. I have since put mess trays in there with sawdust on top of the lino so the lino is really just so I can hose the coop down or wipe easily with disinfectant. Its sealed all the way round with sealant so that mites can get underneath it also.

For the inside of the sides I used cordex or correx board that was given to me also and then sealed in with a good dose of poundshop black sealant
