Not a lot, got more onions to go in courtesy of GYO magazine, Which I am about to snuggle up on the sofa with for a good read and a cup of tea......maybe a cheeky biscuit.

Acquired 4 bags of shetland pony manure ???
Asked what the difference was to ordinary horse manure, reply: "smaller!".  Walked into that one! :)

Hehe, I was thinking the same thing "Whats the difference"? So your not the only amateur on horse poo! ;)

Stuck a water-proof cover on the potting shed.

That should hold it until I / we decide what's going to happen to it.

The latest thoughts are to move it to the other side of the garden, add a flight and turn it into an aviary.

Raining and rain planned all day so not gonna be doing much.

Will head down later and bag up some of the rubbish and take it to the tip.

I'd planned to still still and do nothing during my one 4 hours break this week.... but "we" want to push on with the decorating.

Should have gone to the allotment and taken a cushion and a book.  ::)

My turn to help on the allotment trading hut, so I stood about and talked for two hours, in the freezing cold, while all feeling in my fingers and toes disappeared. It was fun! No really, it was!

Had a bonfire on plot 7 and had a bonfire on plot 54, boy I need those fires today.  Did a bit of tidying up and started emptying the shed as I'm moving to a new plot on the site :)  I did not realise I had so much "stuff" or cr*p as OH always says.

Yesterday moved a ton of topsoil, some into raised beds and some into large soil bag until I get some more small 4x2 beds done. These will be for the herbs.

Got an email that my sheds had been broken into again!  No sign of anything taken, but they had hacksawed through my padlock this time (as I had supaglued the screws after the last breakin stupidly thinking it would put them off).

I am now resolving myself to leaving it unlocked.

Angela I am so sorry, that is just crazy, it was only a couple of days ago. Is your site open for anyone to get in? I would really want to know who was doing it, twice in a few days is jst awful. >:(
Although it has been very drizzly and soggy I have managed to get quite a lot done. I pruned the raspberries. I at last managed to have the time to thoroughly weed one of the raised beds and removed loads of couch. I planted some rhubarab crowns and moved some raspberries to a new bed that I had cleared for them. Collected loads of leaves for leaf mould and mulched around the artichokes, rhubarb and trees with a nice thick layer of leaves. Weeded another path and covered it with plastic and then weed membrane, ready for woodchips. Moved the damson to its final position. Gave all the seedlings in the polytunnel a little seaweed feed. Everything is starting to look tidier and I finally feel like I am making some headway on the second plot. :)

Got an hour in the drizzle which wasn't too bad. Cleared a quarter of the 'to be shed area' from nettles and brambles and went home as it got dark. Coming along nicely now and you can actually see into the allotment lol.

It does have gates that are supposed to be locked but to be honest, I could climb over them (and am wimpy when it comes to climbing over gates and railings as I have short legs!)  My shed is overlooked from all angles by the surrounding houses, so I thought mine would stand more chance of being left alone but clearly not!

I have now got around 30 pallets that I am taking down the lottie in stages as I can only get 10 in the van! I am going to make a tiered platform area with the pallets(painted in a lovely colour of course!) and use deep wooden apple crates sat on top to plant in. It will be for herbs and salad. I'm going to cover the ground with weed fabric first and then bark chippings.
I will post pics when done, it looks great in my mind but we will see when I've finished!!
