Anyone tell me should I harvest my squash before first frost thank you

Mine are all inside now, as we've had a few frosts already

If you can, wait until the skin has gone from shiny to matt and all green traces have gone.  But do get 'em in before the frosts and don't forget, leave a decent length of stem on each.
