My first ever duck egg is hatching - it had pipped early this morning (not sure what time, found it like it at 7am) and it's been wobbling around all day but no further cracks in the shell. 

Should I leave it or help??

Persoanlly i'd help it, but some disagree with helping them out

Now confused.  On closer inspection the shell has cracked but the membrane has not been broken.  I can hear it tapping, and on candling I can't see an air space....

I would give it till tomorrow and if it hasn't made much progress consider helping it out very carefully.
