HI, i need some advce on my ducks i have a pair which are 16 weeks old and i have just got another female, she is about 12 weeks old but about the same size as the other female. my problem is the pair are chasing her nip at her, although they havent made contact yet, they have been together for 2 days now, they all sleep in the same house at night but in the morning that is when the aggression is worst, do you think they will ever get on or am i going to have to rehome her.

I think they will get over it pretty quickly. I've only ever had minor problems with ducks getting to know each other and it all generally settles down pretty quickly. Would stick it out for a while and just leave then to it.

i caught the male with the new females neck in his beck this morning she let out a huge quack, i dont know what to do.

sorry do you mean he was trying to mount the girls animal mad? Is he rather rough?

no i dont think it was part of a mating thing, looked more like a warning. they nip at her feathers about once a day and move her on from places but generally she seems quite relaxed as she sleeps on the lawn with them, and they sleep together in the nesting box
