Hi,
I am a complete novis who has just taken on an allotment. The front of the plot is workable, and I have dug a couple of beds ready for planting, but the trouble I have is the remainder of the plot is heavily over run with weeds, hundreds and hundreds of doc's. What can I use to get rid of these as there is far to many to dig out.
Any advise will be greatfully accepted
Regards
Pistonbroke.

Thanks Aunt Sally
As I said I am a complete novis, Is Glyphogate the cemical name or a trade name ?
-
Auntie, not wishing to be rude or anything, but have you had a glass or two of something, surely it should be Glyphosate (and I checked the spelling in John'sbook to make sure). In other words Roundup.

Wighty, it's obvious - Glyphogate is the warning sign which has to be raised when any discussion involves the pro's and cons of the use of the weedkiller glyphosate 8)
-
I'm alright, got loads of Deep Root from Growing Success that I am not allowed to sell to the public now under the new rules, not that I've had a refund from the manufacuterers or anything, but it's always worked for me.

nahh.. you guys never heard of GLYPHOGATE.. it's the latest thing in rounding up unwanted weeds!

To correct the Mighty Auntie, I really had to pack my bags and be prepared for a long stay, I'll go and unpack now and breathe a huge sigh of relief.
