lol bygrace for being so rude to hijack my thread  ha ha.

I was just interested really to see if any others don't shut up their chickens and it seems everyone either shuts up/lets thier chooks out and some have some rule breaker hens!! Although it seems the boys are the more the rule breakers!!

I am pleased I am not the only one who has their hens not shut up when they roost/sleep at night and have a similar set up to ANHBUC ie a hen house (in our case water butt!!) inside a run with the enclosed walled and 6 foot fence to free range and roam for often the whole day if I'm home. Their wings are clipped but I can't help worry about the cats getting to them! thanks all
