Blood from vent
« on: August 07, 2011, 06:51 »
Morning, I have just let my two out and they both seemed fine then when Ruby turned round there was a lot of bright red blood down her skirt, I checked where she slept and there was a bit af a mess, she is about 3 1/2 and and ex-free range hen, she has eaten and seems fine in herself, i have seperated them until I can get help to clean her up, she hasn't laid for several weeks, what can this be? thanks in advance for any help :(

OK panic over, just gave her a clean, and things seem to be alright I will keep an eye on her to make sure things are fine.
