i am living in central london, i want to have a chicken as a pet, where can i get a chick from?

if i have a chicken, when she  is ill, can i just take her to the vet?

It's not a great idea just to get the one. Best to get at least 3 They stick together and one on it's own is going to be very sad


But yes it is possible to take them to the vets some specialize in poultry

 Nice lady in Dagenham who sells them from her back garden, very friendly chicks

As you have the book I expect you already know about proper housing...... and in London there are even more foxes than more rural areas so please do remember to fox proof their accommodation
