I thought the same, John, and have started more Spring veg, so hopefully, I can bridge the hungry gap which I don't usually worry about. I also put in more potatoes than usual.
It's a worrying time all round.
PS I will admit at the first inkling of a wheat shortage, I ordered a lot of bread flour direct from the mill.
As long as it is still a reasonable price, I will continue to order my usual delivery, but use the oldest stock first. If we ever get to the stage when it is really expensive, or there are empty shelves, I reckon I have a good 8 months worth to fall back on.... Here's hoping it never gets that bad, but I'm happier having my back up, plus my home grown veg.
