the brand of ours is magefesa - made in spain, the frying pan-a-like is a saute pan.I think they were 15-20 Euro each.

my son got me a ridged tefal pan and it bubbled after a couple of weeks , the best pan to date is a cheap one from ikea and a large pan with a bubbly surface and no none stick cleans like a dream

I was given a recipe for cleaning non-stick pans: 2 tblsp baking soda (bicarb), half cup bleach (quarter pint), 1 cup(half pint) of water.
Boil all together for 5-10 mins.  Wash thoroughly after and wipe with a "noily rag" .
It works for a pan with lots of burnt on stuff but tends to stink the kitchen out! Don't know how it would work on surfaces damaged by the dishwasher chemicals.
