Title: Strange day

Hi
What a day i'm having!
Had my first loss today, hoping its nothing contagious, I will keep a close eye on the other girls  :(
Then the only other girl who hadn't laid yet (barnevelder) laid her first egg  :)
It is a bit elongated and pale in colour but at least its a start.  :D

We lost a hen a little over a week ago and my sympathy goes out to you.  It is awful when that happens.  You certainly have had a day of transition, haven't you?
