I bought some electric poultry fencing the other week but after putting it up, couldn't work out how you were supposed to get inside the perimeter fencing without doing yourself a mishief.
Then I had a brain wave.
This is how I now get over the fence.

The steps from the plastic pool that we have.

Only downside is won't the foxes be able to climb it too? Or do you remove it at night?
-
I've greased the top step.

You can buy an door for that type of fence Bodger. But I think your step ladder is cheaper
-
Now if I lived closer I would be very tempted to add a wire between the two :D
-

Just remember that in the morning or that could be a really nasty accident (or £250 from you've been framed!)

Now if I lived closer I would be very tempted to add a wire between the two :D
   That would get Bodger over the ladder fast in the morning

lol now there's an accident waiting to happen! Be careful out there bodger!
-
What if Mrs Bodger takes the ladder away when you are on the wrong side!!!!
-
what a wicked thought  aggie, :D
-
Ohh Bodger I really think you ought to get a gate, I do worry about you!
-
I've just got this mental image now of bodger putting his hands on the ladder and flying backwards...
-
Well I negotiated the ladder this morning reasonably OK. I had a watering can in one hand and the feed bucket in the other. I tell you what though, you sure can see a long way when you're at the top.
-
If we don't hear anything from you one morning we're all gonna pressume you've taken a tumble
Take Care :)
-
You worry too much Vems.
To be honest, we had a heck of a job getting the elecric fencing taught and everytime we cocked a leg over it, the fence went slack. This is the only way that we could think of to get around the problem. How do other people get in and out of their electrified enclosure ?
