Going to get my bantams at t time, all excited.
Kept chickens a few years ago and have missed them very much, used to free range them but Mr Fox soon put paid to that
The pen that was given me has been decorated, a new floor put in and wire netting repaired. Looks lovely thanks to my OH. This has a run attached and is big enough for 3/4 birds.
They are wyndotte banties but dont know what colour I am having yet.
Will post some photos soon

Did you get them from Feathered Friends - they look lovely. Well done you!
-
They're lovely birds! Oh no....I can feel temptation coming again!! lol!
Where did you get them from?
-
oh they are beautiful! :) and your terrier acts just like mine when a new chook comes to stay! lol
-
Yes, I got them from Feathered Friends. I was adamant I did not want chickens with hairy feet- and came back with these- just could not resist. These were born on May 24th, so very young and as you can see the grass is taller than the chickens!
I have ordered some partridge wynedotes (spelling!) that wiil be ready in a few weeks. Oh is going to build me another pen.
-
lovelyyyyy i want them lol. looks like you have got a boy in with them, i was gonna say did ya know lol.
-
Yes I wanted a boy. The man at feathered friends promised to exchange if there turned out to be more than 1 boy.
Particularly wanted a noisy boy to get my own back on my noisy neighbours

Lovely birds. We collected our new banties yesterday. Two partridge pekins and two dutch silver to go with our dutch bantie cockerel.
Thier first day and they are not used to eating corn. I just hopw they are eating the growers pellets. Would any of you feed them something else?
