Title: My freecycle greenhouse frame
Post by: GrannieAnnie on April 22, 2007, 17:29
Well, the greenhouse frame we got from freecycle is now up and in postion where my last year's compost heap was, and OH has now cut 75% of the glass for it from the old secondary glazing he collects from our local conservatory and window manufacturer, so I now have a 6ft sq greenhouse to add to my collection.  He thinks he's using it for a chick brooder, but won't listen to me when I tell him it'll be too hot for day old chicks.

they'll fry during the day and freeze at night, unless he wants to put heating on them, which we can't afford to run.  So, that'll be another bit of space for tomatoes, chillies, melons, cucumbers, etc etc etc!!!!
