« on: July 16, 2012, 11:53 »
the plastic boxes that the washing tablets come in (with lids) I am sure they must be useful for something ?? I only have a few at the moment but they look to good to throw away/ recycle ?? any useful ideas   :D
some people are like slinkys......they're really good for nothing, but they still bring a smile to your face as you push them down the stairs!!

as already suggested:
Handy storage for ready-use blood fish and bone.
Individual mini-cloches
Seed storage

or........

Entry into the annual 'least interestingly shaped jelly mould' competition,

Convert into a conservatory for a slug pub,

Put a hamster in and float it on a pond to give your pet the 'glass bottomed boat' experience,

See-through lunchbox to flaunt your upmarket sarnies,

Spray-retaining cap over the fountain in windy weather,

Ballroom slippers for Cinderellas with very chunky shaped feet,

Big brother house for spiders,

Biscuit jar to avoid the unexpected 'out of biscuits' surprise,

Finger guards to protect wet nail varnish,

Jack in the box case for children who don't like surprises,

Put over a handful of small worms to tease blackbirds,

Individual baths for your elbows,

or.......
The Dales - probably fingerprint marks where God's hand touched the world

What size are these tubs? Could you staple them together and make a large planter for salad leaf or spring onions?
Taken over neglected veg garden at new home. Enemy number 1 Ground Elder. Then there is the furry terror - bunnies - to contend with!
Made a start have beds established but moved in too late for serious planting. We shall see what 2015 brings.

They could make good 'holders' to stand paper pots in, Starry.

When you've made enough to fill the box and support each other empty, dribble in the compost, and don't worry of it gets in between them too much!

We made hundreds of paper pots this year, and used ice cream plastic containers just like that - 18 per carton, and they worked a treat!

Depends what size they are though...

ive used them for storing seed and other random garage/toolbox parts - good cos they are translucent.
these 2 take all my time, whatever is left the veggies get, poor hubby is at the end of the queue.
