Cheap cheese
« on: August 01, 2011, 10:45 »
As much as it grieves me to post this:

Tesc* (ours at least) - McLelland seriously strong cheddar. (It's good stuff). Buy one get TWO free - so it's £4.29 for three packs.

Offer is only on today and tomorrow, limit of 6 per customer.

May go for a second trip!
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

It was going quick, I expect it's limited stock and I can't promise that it's a nationwide offer.

There are a couple of stalls at Devizes  (no I haven't seen her yet) Market on a Thursday that have "Three cheeses for a quid" offers.   The cheeses are just the right size for a couple and none left to grow 'stuff' in the fridge.   Cheers,     Tony.

The offer is online so should be nationwide :)

It'll sellout like hot cakes though ;)

Much as it grieves me to shop at trashco I'm going to get some at that price.  Keeps well in the freezer, just a bit more crumbly when it's defrosted.
Cheese makes everything better.

Ooh now! Isn't that just brilliant stuff?  :D On the cheese front, I won't make it to Tesco in time but have a fridge full already...  :nowink:

I ordered some yesterday.

Not to promote te*cos but the pork shoulder at 2.50/Kg has to be worth a gamble !
