Didn't make it, went straight on at Ayres Rock & ended up in Queensland.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Thanks Trillium for the bin idea ! We've just found a friendly farmer with Tractor and Trailer who is willing for a shilling to move " Heaven and earth for us ", well "Muck "anyway to start with.

We have to move it to the heap or veg plots, from the dropping off point in wheelbarows, but that should be a doddle !

Our soil needs manure fast after all the rain , the nutrients are washed away and the clay soil is turning into concrete .

There's always next year and the preperations start now !!

i just fill up old compost/ coal bags - and chuck them in my old volvo - i don't worry about any smells - with 3 spaniels in there all the time - clean / fresh air is a thing of the past

to top it all - i normally load up one day - and empty a few days later - never really noticed a pong - mind you when i left old grass clippings in the car for a couple of days - it honked big time - maybe my sh*t don't stink

I understand the other options, I just wanted advice about carrying in what i have now for free. The bins idea is a good one, though. I didn't think tarps would work since they tend to be woven and i'd be afraid of it leaking out as someone pointed out.
Thanks for the entertainment you guys ;)
wistfully hoping to one day be mostly organic gardener in North London.
