I wonder if Wyevale will eventually reduce their seeds to 50p, as they did last year?

DD I always buy them there at 50p. It's normally after the August Bank Holiday. Keep it to yourself though ;) ;)

OK - although I really must stop myself, I really do ONLY need carrot seed!
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Other way round for us - to reach Wyvedale we have to cross a busy dual carriageway and it's a 30 minute cycle ride each way. Wilkos, in the town, takes 10 minutes.  ;)

Managed to get to Wyevales yesterday (after spending too much in Aldi on frtuit bushes   ) and bought all the seeds on my list at half price.

Bearing in mind that it was mainly peas, beans, chillis. cucumber and melon on my list I saved loads and managed not to buy more than I needed too... whew!

Didn't have to sneak the little brown bag into the house past Mr Sunny

I got a few of the more expensive seeds half price at Wilko and Focus.  But I did stop myself buying the 'normal' seeds as offers each year, eg Wilko, 3for £1.50 or £2.50 will make them practically the same price.

Sounds a bit like my method of organising next year's seeds....
"Where did I put ***?"
"Oh, here's one I bought earlier!"

You can never have too many.....and they'll do for back-up or next year  ;)

Having still got a couple of boxes of seeds from last years 50p sale at Wyevale, I'm going to do it different this time  :)
I shall rigidly stick to my plan of buying 'Seeds of Italy' from our allotment association at £1 a packet. The rest I shall buy from Moles Seeds, where you seem to get a huge number in a packet.
But, if I'm passing Wyevale, I may just pop in
Cheers, Comfortably Numb.

I'm just off down the greenhouse. I won't be long ..........................
