when i got my compost delivered they came in these big sacks.... pretty much the same as builders sack the ones you order sand and the likes in
they are about waste high
got 5 ... seems a waste to chuck them... can i use them for anything planting wise or any other ideas

A chap on our plots fastens them to 4 posts,1 in each corner & uses them for compost bins.

That looks to be the size of a sand bag rather than a builders rubble sack
You can roll them down a bit to make a large plant pot in which to grow a courgette for example. You could fill it with compost, tie the end tightly, lay it down like a growbag and use it thusly

We split them down one side and along the bottom and use them around the outside of the plots as windbreak. I have them pinned to my pallet fence but others have just strung them between poles.

I should of added that I used them for storing my potatoes ,but covered with with black
Weed membane and stored a dark cupboard.
