Just put my order in as well as a packet of kale seeds. Didnt really need the kale but felt a bit cheeky just scheming the spuds.

Me too, perhaps that's the scam, they offer you something free, and then you end up buying something, I do hoe the spuds turn up soon though.

Thanks so much, Sally A, for posting about the DT Brown site. I want to plant Mimi seed potatoes, and the postage for the various companies was prohibitive for just the one item. Now I've been able to order just what I want, 99p postage, plus a special offer of 10 spuds thrown in. Can't wait to get chitting !!!

Garden centres are only just receiving their stock, so it must be despatch time soon. I'd probably give them a call around 20th Jan.

I know some seed spuds seem to be stocked later than others, but there were Unwins Vale Emerald in Cheddar Garden Centre yesterday (obviously just arrived as the shelves were full and tidy).

I've made enquiries locally (near Middlesbrough) and they won't be getting seed potatoes in until late January/early February. So too early to panic!

Just wanted to say thank you for posting this. I only plant a few earlies in my garden so 10 free ones are excellent.

(Mind you I did order a couple of packets of flower seeds - I was going to get the flower seeds anyway - I was just looking for cheap packets - 10 free spuds was good enough for me!)
