Hi all

Sorry if this has already been posted I have tried searching and got nothing. The 99p stores currently have bare-rooted Blueberries, Gooseberries (2 varieties), Raspberries, Blackcurrants and other soft fruit bushes (I can't remember all of them, sorry). Obviously 99p each.

They tend to be a bit dried up when you get them - a 99p redcurrant only fruited last year after a year of TLC. But worth a try at that price.
Self-sufficient in rasberries and bindweed. Slug pellets can be handy.

I'll have a go at it. The ones I picked out have green growth and buds so fingers crossed. Maybe I should take some before and after snaps. Hopefully it won't turn into "before" and "dead-as-a-dodo".

I picked up some of these about 6 weeks back from a 99p shop.

My  redcurrant is sprouting nicely.

The blackcurrant & blueberry are still looking like dead twigs stuck into pots  Will give these another month before giving up on them.

I tried some of these Raspberries last year, without success. However undeterred I have just bought half a dozen fruit trees from Poundstretcher at 4-99 each and they seem to be doing nicely.

I hoe, I hoe, it's off to weed I go.
