Happiness is......
« on: July 03, 2012, 17:58 »
Here's a short video of Jack, enjoying the toys I won in a charity auction.  :D

He loves squeaky toys, yet Cherry doesn't bother with toys much at all ::)

    Cherry just looks down her nose at them, only occasionally plays with them, but  on her terms.  ::)

Daughter has a yorkshire terrier and he always destroys his toys especially squeaky ones.  We found one that he hasn't managed to kill but we have to keep it at our house as it is so noisy.  He loves playing with it but I must admit you have to be in the right mood to give him it.

  If jack get's too enthusiastic, we throw one of his toys into the kitchen. By the time he's found it, we've had enough of a breather. ;)

My wee border terrier loves squeaky toys - but only because he has vicious little teeth and can find and tear the squeak out in a matter of minutes. This is a real shame cos the flatcoat loves squeaky toys - but to play with. Haven't found one yet that can withstand the attack of a border terrier.

I think that's one of the reasons my Border Collie is scared of them.  The Terrier always used to kill them so we never had any toys with a squeak. ::)

The squeaky one I bought is a rubber one shaped like an ammonite shaped shell, it was made by this company.

They don't have it on their website but some of the other products look good.  If they are as strong as the one I bought they should be good for your border terrier.   ;)
