Healing thoughts please for the baby kitten
« on: June 04, 2012, 11:39 »
Could I please have some vibes for the baby kitten?  He hasn't been nursing very well today, taking less than 5ml per time, rather than 10-15ml.

We're off to the vet this afternoon, just to make sure everything is as it should be.

I have to admit, he is growing on me, despite the late nights and early mornings needed to keep him fed; and I'm a little concerned about him.

Although he has gained weight since Thursday, it isn't as much as what he should be, and he didn't gain any weight yesterday.

Well, after a trip to the vet (two injections, deworming drops and eye and nose drops) he is a much happier kitten today.  Much more fiesty and noisy :)

How's he doing today?
Be like a duck. Calm on the surface but always paddling like the dickens underneath.

Feisty is really living upto his name now :)

He is probably 6-7 weeks old now, and I've noticed a big difference in the past week about how much more playful he is getting ;)  At the moment everything needs to be approached sideways with fur puffed out before being pounced on :D

He now has free rein of my entire spare room, though I feel a little sad that he doesn't have anyone to play with, so I'm on the lookout for another weanling kitten  :nowink:  ::)

My two adult cats don't bother with him althoughthey are aware he is in the house.  unfortunately I can't give him the interaction he needs during the day... hence the kitten hunt lol!

I'll soon be the mad cat woman in my village!
