Bindweed in Manure
« on: October 04, 2007, 17:41 »
Hello All,

I've just taken on my first plot, which is full of weeds... I've also inherited from the previous chap a huge pile of horse manure. The thing is it's really just a massive nest of bindweed! So my question is, is this manure still good for anything?

Liam

Bindweed - obviously!!

If the manure is well rotted the roots should knock out easily & you can use it - just don't plant any of them though!

Welcome BTW.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

This is my special day. I shall circle it in red ink on the calendar and cherish it for ever.

Mind you - this lot will make up for it tomorrow!
