Had a Wisteria plant in the garden for years now its not really grown and never ever flowered, Its got shoots for new growth do they take a number of years before getting going. I would say its been there 4 years.

Seed grown Wisteria take about 7 years before they flower. You don`t get them so much now. Grafted ones flower from year one.

I would not know what type it was i put it in some time back before i even cared about the garden.

I would say it was seed grown Kris. Easy way to check, have a look at the base of the plant and see if it`s grafted. :D
