partner strimmer

i have just been given a partner strimmer,anyone know where spares are available,i noticed that it was made by husqvarna so will try to see if the local dealer can help but any advice welcome.

 Partner is allied to Flymo etc within the Husqvarna group....

Do check out all model and serial numbers before contacting an agent...often on Flymo etc group products there may be a sticker giving a product code number in addition to the main model name/number which the machine is known by.

I think more recent Partner strimmers fell in line with group products?..and may be similar to others within the groups brands.??....however older machines seemed a bit more independant machines...

 We have a 1987 Partner B250U straight shaft strimmer/brushcutter..this for instance has a Kawasaki td024? engine..rather than an in house engine..giving the chance in our case to source spares outside of Partner agents for the engine side of things.

If you are struggling for a local agent perhaps a call to the customer service at Flymo/Partner may assist...I have not dealt with them for years now..but they certainly used to be very helpful....
