A piano piece by Rachmaninov (I think) but can't remember its name. If any musical peeps on here can decipher this please let me know. It starts thus and goes downwards in the scale of C:

G E F E C, A B C G.

It might not be written in the scale of C but am not doing flats and sharps for other keys.

No, that's from the film Brief Encounters which was made at Carnforth railway station not far from here. Mine's in a major not minor key so have another try for me or I'll not sleep tonight.
