I ordered about £30 worth of plug plants and er plug veg back in February and each part of the order had different dispatch dates. I think in the end I had seven different deliveries via courier, Royal Mail/post and a local who drivers around delivering stuff. The delivery charge was £5 ish. How can that cost in?

I suppose they factor in the delivery cost when pricing up the plants to some extent and accept it's a bit of win some lose some.

The sender probably also negotiates a fixed price contract for XX deliveries for YY price.

It is only us who get charged full price to send stuff.

plug plant cost between 20 - 50p, Parkers use Yodel so depending on how much buisness depends on cost. Couriers would have agreed to deliver within a certain time frame.
Hubby uses Hermes sometimes as very cheap, drivers are paid very, very little.
