did I here it said by an adviser to the government that we didn't need British farmers well they only produce milk meat cereal crops and veg why by British when we can buy all that from abroad
not forgetting all that animal welfare and the monitoring of most things that are grown by DEFRA the next thing will be do we really want people doing allotments why do people have to grow fresh veg when its as cheap to buy it from some supermarkets there you are down that allotments every day digging and planting all that fresh are is certainly not good for you
and all that lovely allotment ground could be used for building new homes us allotment folk are very selfish you know keeping hold of those plots of land for growing fresh veg and do we need something called garden therapy
so its back to those farmers producing standards of food with that silly tractor mark on packaging lets face it all those lovely fields most of them now all water logged do look nice with swans and ducks swimming on them
lets face it these old government advisers really know how to make friends with our farming communities O' I forgot to mention red diesel [red diesel] that's now subsidised is going to be scraped so any price increase because of this will know doubt be passed onto the consumer one way or another take wheat if wheat go up then bread prices will follow?
PS
haven't seen any mention of a fuel increase to us gardeners and other road users in the forthcoming budget
but there's still time should I send an email to remind him our road tax and fuel prices are to cheap
