Magnolia tree

This tree was moved a couple of months ago I just noticed this on the leaves and leave dropping can anyone tell me what it is

Mine is established tree and i get leaf fall bud drop but it does produce a huge ammount of buds , its probably not settled in yet .

That does look like the after effects of the tree being moved.  Keep the tree well watered as the roots have obviously sustained a bit of damage.  Don't worry about feeding it now, but a good mulch if something like bagged stable manure would help over the winter.

If it just dies back here and there, it should recover next year and you can prune any dead bits out.
