I'd say mainly slug/snail damage with a hint of flea beetle too.

Surprisingly few members seem to have mentioned slugs and snails so far this year - plenty here and they can wipe out almost any seedlings and young veg plants if you don't do something to tackle them.
Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

One of the best things about being an orang-utan is the fact that you don't lose your good looks as you get older

They should grow through the flea beetle attack and be OK.  Slugs are a bit more of a pest as they can eat seedlings down to the ground and then they don't recover.  You might want to put some slug pellets down, or set up beer traps  :)

Flea beetle (seem to be epic quantities of them around this year) won't affect the actual radish too much so it's tolerable to an extent. Growing a lot of radishes this year and I'd say some organic slug pellets and fleece are a sound investment for a good crop. Ours are only taking 5-6 weeks from sowing to picking, so you still have plenty of time to perfect your technique!
