Radishes
« on: November 03, 2014, 16:19 »
Hi All. I've had a go at growing some radishes, with limited success. The grow, but when you pull them up they look like they've been nibbled by something. I fact some of them look like small red golf balls. Any idea what's doing the damage? Cheers.

Interestingly I've grown some Mooli radishes this year in deep containers and no slug damage at all. As a bonus the roots reach over 1 foot long and can weigh well over 1 lb. Really nice sliced in stir fries but one radish goes a long way!
