Yep, agree I do not find them the best lizard, my leopard gecko is better.
Many bearded dragons are free to a good home at the moment & then nobody wants them.
You will need a 4ft x 2ft x2ft vivarium for 1 adult, best kept singularly.
Can eat lots of bugs & salad daily, so can be expensive to feed.
Need a new UV 12% tube every 6months to a year (Arcadia), A heat basking bulb on a pulse stat 100wat bulb, 12 hours a day with the UV on.
Basking spot of around 110 d, cooler at the other end of the viv.
Bugs need gut loading with veg 24hrs before feeding to the lizard & dusting with vitamin/calcium powder.

But you do need to get their housing, feeding, lighting & supplements right or you will end up with a sick pet.
If you do your homework first, they are really easy, but a bearded dragon does need more input in time & effort than some other lizards.
