Seedfest WARNING!!!
« on: November 29, 2007, 21:17 »
If anyone has been thinking of buying seeds from seedfest, I would highly recomend looking elsewhere.

I ordered seeds on 2nd October still not here. I have sent an email to the company 5 times and have never had a reply. I decided to do a google search and found a website full of people who had ordered them and nothing arrived.
I don't have a drink problem. I drink, I get drunk, I pass out. No Problem.

They've moved to ROGUE valley Oregan. Could the clue be in the name?
If it wasn't for chemicals we'd be organic.

I've given up now, if i get them it'll be great if i don't there is nothing i can do about it.

I'm not going to spend the money phoning them, the call would probably cost more than the seeds.

If they are mailing from America, did you specify Scotland in your address?  If not, your order will probably be floating around in Canada somewhere since most American companies believe that is where all alphanumeric zip codes belong.

i think we had this warning on here about 6 months ago, especially as their home page says "We've moved to oregan" despite selling as UK Heirloom seeds.

For distribution sake I thought it might have been worth their while to at least keep a postal centre (please note gobs and WG, a centre, not a center!)in the UK.

I hope you get your order in the end and that all fears are unfounded.

I'm all right about the centripodium issue, but shouldn't be I, Oregon and Seeds be a capital start?

You can ring for a penny a minute to the US. I do when I order seeds from any US company.

If you google a UK company called telediscount, you'll find their site: you ring a 0844/0845 number for a particular country, then follow the instructions. Used them for about 2 years now, so it's not a scam, for calling Australia (1p) and the US or Norway. Some

That would make it affordable if you want to ring them.

I ordered from them last year, and had no probs, although I read here before I ordered that people had had probs, so I was a bit anxious. The stuff grew well, too.

And, no, I don't work for them!
