we have loads of elderflowers at the moment and they're showing Hugh on tv again and he inspired us so we made some champagne and some cordial.
Both very easy.
The cordial was ready yesterday and it's gorgeous! The fizz still has a few days left to go now that it's bottled.

When i saw this i thought, where are elderflowers this time of the year in the UK and then i saw you were in NZ!!! phew

I made a load of cordial 6 months or so ago from this recipe....

Just quality controlled it to make sure it kept for Christmas.

Just left it sitting in the garage in 2 litre milk containers. Really clear now.
